End-grain cutting board using alternating walnut and maple strips. Finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. The grain pattern creates a nice checkerboard effect.
Experimenting with itajime shibori folding technique on linen. Used triangular folds with wooden blocks for resist. Five dips in the indigo vat gave a deep navy with crisp white resist patterns.
